After this also came the children of Moab and the children of Ammon, and with them of the [a]Ammonites against Jehoshaphat to battle.

Then there came that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the [b]Sea, out of Aram: and behold, they be in Hazazon Tamar, which is En Gedi.

And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself [c]to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
